Return Policy

All return merchandise must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and be authorized by Detail Addict representative prior to shipping.  Product shipped to us without prior authorization will be rejected and returned and the buyer will be responsible for the shipping expense. All returned items are carefully inspected and must be in new, unused condition and in the original package. If it is not in a new and re-sellable condition, the product will be shipped back on the buyer’s expense.  Return items are subject to a 35% restocking fee, non-refundable shipping and handling fees. Customers are responsible for all associated custom entry fees and duty charges to Detail Addict. Returned products must be prepaid and insured by the customer. No refund or exchange after 30 days of the date indicated on the invoice.

The following criteria must be met to qualify for a return:

Exchanges are subject to product availability.

  • All returns must have the RMA number clearly visible on the shipping label or shipping box. Any returned products without a RMA number will be refused and returned to the sender.
  • All return items must be in new, unused condition and in the original package.
  • Have all the original instruction and manufacturer information.
  • All returns must be made within 30 days from the date of the invoice.
  • All return items are subject to a 35% restocking fee, non-refundable shipping and handling fees.  
  • Original shipping costs are not refundable.

Cancelling an Order Procedure

  • If you haven't submitted an order, you may clear the items in your shopping basket at any time by clicking the 'Remove' button next to the product you do not wish to purchase in your shopping basket.
  • If you’ve made an order over the phone and the products have not been shipped, you may call us directly to place a cancellation on your order.   
  • In the event that the incorrect item is shipped to you, please contact us within 24 hours from the received date of shipment to obtain an RMA number and we will arrange for collection of the unit and all associated costs.

Custom and Special Order Products

Special order and/or custom fabrications products are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-transferable nor receive credit of any kind.

Damaged Products

All damaged products must be reported within 24 hours from the received date of shipment and provide us evidence of the problem to qualify for an exchange. Damaged items are to be inspected by Detail Addict to verify your claim.

Inspect your parcel carefully. If you receive an item damaged, notify the delivery company immediately (for FedEx call 1-800-GO-FEDEX, for UPS call 1-800-PICK-UPS, for USPS go to www.usps.com). Do not discard any of the box, shipping label, packing material, or broken items. The delivery company must pick-up the damaged goods and provides you with a claim number. You may provide us the claim number so we can follow up on the claim status. This may take up to several weeks. We are unable to send our replacement items until the claim is approved, or a payment is made for the 2nd shipment. We will issue a refund to your account promptly upon receiving reimbursement from the shipper.

Labor Cost

Labor cost incurred by you or the installer of the products purchased at this website is not refundable or will be reimbursed with credit or of any kind.
